windscreen black side trim removal

Postby prlee » 22 Feb 2015 20:14

Anyone recommend the best method of removing the black side trims from the A post of the DHC. These are the parts that fix to the windscreen in front of the door quarterlights.

I can't see how they are attached.

I have no idea Pete, but good to hear from you, it's been a while since the TSSC forum went down.

The trim snaps on and off. I used a small screwdriver to release the bottom edge and then gradually worked it off. To put back on, you use a rubber mallet or other non-marring type hammer, to snap it back in place.
