Tony Lee recuperating

Postby John Clancy » 28 Jan 2015 13:04

Uncle Tony has been in hospital recently to have a heart valve job. This wasn't a heart out operation but still not a trivial matter given Tony's 86 years old. Anyway, he's out now and he sounded a lot better when I spoke to him yesterday than before he went in and I thought all you TR Drivers Club members would like to know the club has sent him a get well card in which we say we hope he'll be firing on all four cylinders again soon.

Hopefully all this will mean we'll enjoy Tony's company again at club events this year, in particular we hope to get him to the NEC in November where Paul Lewis is planning a prototype display. Be great to have a big picture of Tony with the prototypes on the stand as well as the man himself.

It's amazing what can be successfully done these days - but I'm sure we all wish him a speedy recovery.

Cheers
Ian

Glad to hear he's doing okay John. It would be just fantastic to see him get along to Billing again, and the NEC this year.

We all wish him the very best and a speedy recovery.
