Went to above car show. One of the ten best things to do on Father's Day on Vancouver Island according to Oprah (she has a house in Victoria). It's limited to 575 cars as that's all they can fit in the down town streets the city sets aside for them. We (OECC) won the club participation award (most cars by a club, 55) and the best British Car award was won by an Austin 7 owned by a lady who had recently come over from Britain. She wasn't actually a member of the club but as she was meandering down the road on her way to the show, all these British cars pulled up behind her. She waved them on but they all stayed behind her as she barely made it up a steep hill on the way to the participants entrance. There was a band and after a big breakfast at a side walk cafe, Ron and I meandered around the big blocks till I lost him in the crowd. It was misty driving up but cleared up shortly after arriving making for a good day.
