Reading this article on another website I like to frequent, just scroll down a few pictures. If someone knows where this is there might still be something useful on the car.

The types of trees, topography, and surface rust on the cars suggests to me a location in the US southern states.

I believe the guy who runs the site is up around Boston. Of course he could have been on a road trip and stopped in that particular junkyard

That was my guess too Nick only a little further north say mid-south eastern side (south of Boston). We north-westerners call those trees shrubs.[:p]
