Early Xmas Present

Postby FI Spyder » 05 Dec 2011 15:41

Got my Xmas Present. A hydraulic spring compressor. It was $120 Cdn, $130 off regular price. Comes with two sets of jaws, smaller for coil over shocks as seen in picture with Integra's coil overs and larger jaws for McPherson Struts. Makes the job a snap.

My wife says "I buy you such good Xmas presents".[:D]

I've already got the pump (and lots of accessories for it) - so: where do I get the spring compressor part? Looks like THE thing to have...

Last time I took a spring off the front strut - I nearly lost a finger when my home-made clamps slipped round....... So yes please - I also have pump etc already - where do we get the compressor???

I'm surprised, Odd, that one of the accessories isn't a set of clamps, it seems a natural as it's pretty much the same thing.

Further net search - This seems to be the kit he got:

That's the one. I really did save $130-$140.[8D]
