I am going to look at this car tomorrow has anyone got anything interesting I should know about the car.
I know it was part of the Arthur Carter collection but where was it before and where has it been since and when was it converted to a rally car.
Also when was the sprint engine fitted?
Thanks
Andy

Andy, I was going to buy it from Arthur Carter when he sold off part of his collection, couldnt decide whether to have the TR7 or his 240Z, finished up with neither as I was offered one of the factory cars.

Very good news that a car such as this is in very safe hands.

Like all of us on here I hope to see it at some future event.

Very well done Andy on getting such a fantastic car.

Well done Andy, when I spoke to you at Donnington you mentioned you were tempted. Is ARW181S going to make an appearance soon? I still miss that car.

How's this for a TR7 coincidence.
ARW181S (TR7 Sprint) is now owned by Andy and he used to own SJW550S (TR7 Sprint).
SJW550S is now owned by me and I used to own ARW181S.
All this happened before we had ever spoke to each other. When we did chat we found out we share the same birthday (09-03-65). Spooky

Funny how the very rare and best examples of our cars do seem
to do the rounds amongst a small band of enthusiasts.

Sadly, a genuine Sprint has never come my way as yet but I live
in hope.
