Looks FANTASTIC! Great job. I guess it counts as the only "NEW" TR7 in the world. I'll bet even the doors close with a nice solid "thunk". Does it have that new car smell?
You should be very proud of your work.

What year does it get on its paperwork?

Thanks for the comments guys, as it was built following the DVLA rules regarding using a new shell it can retain the reg of the car the main assemblies came from, hence WTT543S.

Cheers, Paul

Too good to park in the parking lot at your local supermarket and only go to those pubs that have parking spots where nobody can bang their doors into yours.[:)]

That colour, no hole in the roof, US bumpers, & black door handles really do go beautifully.

Great.

Your black door handles - LR Discovery or painted originals?

(Mine are Discos, and the passenger door one is without a lock barrel = rear door version.
I do have the drivers side rear door handle as well, but haven't dared go that route on my door yet.
So far I don't fully trust the keyless electronics...)

Grinnal painted my door handles black over 20 years ago when they "restored" the bodywork.

Your car looks stunning Ruddy, streets ahead of mine.....

Door handles are powder coated originals, I have some 7x13 genuine Minilites on order as an alternative to the factory originals, as you can see on the photo I have had no luck with a set of centre caps.

I have yet to apply the TR7 boot and nose badge, I'm waiting for one of the lads at the bodyshop to volunteer to fit the side stripe.

Cheers, Paul
