TR Drivers National 8-9-10 July

Postby Triton7 » 27 Mar 2011 12:31

This years National at Billing is on 8th, 9th and 10th of July.

We already have planned the 2 car runs, a quiz night, concourse and we will also be having a display of early TRs so there should be something of interest for everyone.

It is the 30th Anniversary of the TR Drivers Club so we are looking to celebrate our birthday with lots of friends.

The Booking Code to advance book at Billing Aquadrome is TRD11, you can contact them on 01524 781 453.

Hope to see you there and let's celebrate our birthday.

Make sure that the date is in your diary.

It is in my diary already Simon i will be there with my all new tent with new camping gear

all because I have a new trailer to bring it down with, I will even have my own cooker and breakfast table in it.

So you will not get the blame for making me ill like last year ( [:D] only joking)

I have just took the car out the garage for the first time this year today

It's amazing how many faults happen when there is a big cover over the car for six months

I will start a post on this subject later on

see you there...[8D]

I joined TRDC sometime in the 80's near when it began but somehow let membership lapse and rejoined again in the 90's. I still have a few early copies of the club mag (pamphlets really!) somewhere. Someone in the club back then was making numberplates with the club logo on the end and your own choice of words under the registration (both illegal now). I had these on a white dhc and they looked the dogs danglies.. Once again, I'll try and find something photo-wise to put up on the forum.

John it is a bit to big to fit in the car 90cm round (36")

and 15cm thick (6")

but I suppose if you had the roof down you could put it behind your seat ... [:D]

I could not try that as the car was in the garage with the dash still out

and many items on the roof

as said I have my wee trailer now so no problem for me ...[8D]

Not bad for £100 is it..[;)]Image
