Great news that your'e coming staningrimsby!, glad your car has worked out for you! MOT? no problem, I'd pass it just looking at your photo's!!!
TR7Jim,
Not had anymore entries for 4 or 5 days now, but not too concerned as the number of entries is far more than we ever dreamt we'd get! I'm posting out the passes, show plans & info. sheets to all TR7 & TR8's sometime this week, as people start to receive them, hopefully they will tell friends, then we may get some more late entries!!
The Banner is being made now at the sign shop!:-
TR7 & TR8 Northern National Weekend. Also tomorrow I'm going to the trophy shop to order the trophies, (for Saturday & Sunday!!) All we have to do now is hope for nice weather on the weekend. The rest of the show is fully booked, but still taking entries for our special TR7 display!!! see you all soon.
Cheers fixed-head.

Yey! Got my pass today for Tatton - Thanks Jim & Stuart.

We're planning to travel up on Friday - are there plans to keep the TR7 camping together??? If so, what sort of time are other Friday people getting there???

close to the tr7 display you will see a walled area, I reckon camping as close to the display as possible is the best bet. exhibitors start to arrive for camping from 10:00am on Friday (thats the earliest you are allowed to arrive), and some areas fill up quickly. the walled area is favoured by the TSSC but they don,t usually fill it. It,s about an acre in size, It,s a great place to camp with a solid brick wall all around, and there should be room to park your TR7 by your tent in the evening if you don,t want to leave it on the stand. It,s about 200yrds from the beer tent, food bars & main toilets, but there are some single porta loo,s in the walled area too! If we put the word out to all TR7/8 exhibitors to camp in the walled area I,m sure it will make the weekend better for everyone! I,m on the gate on the Friday so should be able to direct everyone to the right place!! I.m really, really excited now, and can,t wait! New banner for the stand being delivered this weekend, all trophies ordered! all passes gone out! Cheers fixed-head.

Hello Ruddy, Your red FHC looks a 'cracker!'. Still got TR7's wanting to enter! Phone calls, E-mails etc.! Hope they all do!! Anyone not received their passes by mid-week give me a shout and I'll sort it for you.
Saw an early white tr7 in the Coventry Motor Museum the other day, tidy old thing too! No sun-roof, black vinyl roof instead, looked nice. The sills were painted white with no sill trim which did'nt look right though? Would that be right for an 'R' reg.? Cheers fixed-head

Another FHC entered today, and one caller coming over to see if any TR7's are for sale! A future exhibitor maybe?
The office has had lots of calls from people just wanting to come and see the special display! This is good news as the display will be a great advert for the TR7, and hopefully encourage some new enthusiast's into buying, restoring or owning a lovely 'wedge'! The rest of the show is now VERY full, but spaces for TR7/TR8's are still available, so still hopeful for some last minute entries!! Looking forward to seeing everyone and their lovely cars at the show, Cheers fixed-head.

This is looking very promising. I'm sure this is already in hand but will there be TRDC club magazines to hand out to non-TRDC members and people who show a real interest in the cars? I've just sent the press release out to all the classic car press for Billing in July so it would be good to get to as many people as possible by distributing the club magazine or possibly even a flyer of the great advert on the back page of the present issue.

And does anyone have that great looking 30th Anniversary T-shirt yet? If so, get 'em on for Tatton!
