wide fender flare

Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

That can gain you 1-2" but you are now talking about a really crazy wheel off-set (probably over 55mm) and it isn't gong to be easy to find.

However, using a narrower rear axle might work [;)]

Sorry have to disagree there [8)]

15x7" wheels with 205/50 tyres.
It's a tight fit OK, but no problems with the standard wings

Have NFI on either of these places.

If you keep checking Ebay under tr7, every now and then there is a fellow that lists a 1" thick adapter for 7's to 4x100 mm. He usually wants $ 225. plus shipping. It comes with the lugs, you must state you want it for the 7 as he also sells the same thing to spitfires.
Remember the the Spits use different size lug bolts.

A site I found that lists an adapter is adaptitusa.com It has been a while since I checked them out. Do remember that they sell an adapter for the 7. Search by bolt size.

There are vendors on EBAY who sell the same kit for $135... They do not list our size, but if you ask for it, they will make a custom set for the same price!

Beans, you can't disagree with my results, it is what it is [;)]. However, you can point out that it has worked for you due to a different offet [:D].

Are you sure that your tires are not rubbing? It almost looks like you have a dark "rim" where it might be touching the inner fender! Do you have a close-up photo?

Only one side slightly touches at the rear (RH) and only under extreme conditions. It doesn't even show on the tyre wall. That's due to the axle sitting slightly offset to the right.
ET of these wheels is 24.

But I have the same "problem" on my DHC which has 195/55 section tyres aslo on 15x7" wheels and an ET off 25 mm.

We just have to face the fact that TR7's aren't what you'd call welded together carefully [}:)]

Would appreciate a little clarification where or under what topic you found the vendor for the adapter on e-bay.

I did a search under wheel adapters and came up with way to many. Tried to condence it to 4 x 100mm and came up with 4. None of these appeared to be what you mentioned.

Maybe I am just not looking in the right area. Can you help me out?

Thanks in advance.

There is a kit that will let you move the mounting points for the shocks inboard several inches. Now you can use wheels with a deeper inset allowing bigger tires. I can't remember who supplies and have searched through all my bookmarks trying to find it. I have posted the photo here before for Apex - Kyle.

Have fun, drive fast & safe, be kewl,
