Thanks Has been. That was the roughest piece of road I have ever had the displeasure of driving over. My 4wd commodore ute would not of made it over a couple of the humps. The car is getting better to drive every event. I have the luxury of having Nathan Quinn helping to sort the suspension. He drove a WRC John Cooper Mini in last years Rally Australia and really understands what is going on with shock development. Added to that we changed the rear diff to a Hilux unit and added 1 degree of negative camber and 1mm of toe in on a 15" wheel. This really changed the turn in of the car. It now has a CV joint on the outer end of the axle.[8D]

At the request of Hasbeen :). We recently competed in the Border Ranges Rally in Northern NSW. This is the third time we have done this rally. Proper silly fast roads as one competitor said. Top speeds for us nudged 180kph ( 120mph). We finished 3rd NSW state and won our class. 15 outright. Very happy with the car.
The car is now in the workshop for a serious maintenance programme before the WRC in September.
Diff out new larger fuel tank gearbox out, new clutch,re grease front strut assemblies new front wheel bearings, adjust valve clearances,retune Webers and a general check over.

Troy, I think it is time for you do a blog on all this. In fact it was probably time to start one a couple of years ago.

It would be great for everyone to follow the development of the car, & the team. There is not all that much things Triumph being pushed seriously these days. Does my heart good.

Love that bit of high speed stuff on Facebook.

Those struts look pretty serious, as with a fair bit of the other stuff.

It's just as important to clean the side windows as the windscreen when the car is in for service[:D]
