Here in the uk such damage cab repaired even if access is poor, they resistance weld pins and pull on these.

As it turns out, there is a guy here in little Bend OR that is selling 2 TR7s. And here all along I thought I had all the TR7s in the Bend area. He has a FHC and a DHC. The FHC is the same yellow color as mine. I haven't been able to connect with him yet, we've been playing phone tag. Ideal I'd buy the car from him. Problem is if I bring it home, I'll have no place stay since the missus will lock me out.

if you want to keep the swambo happy, just take a sawsall with you and trim out the replacement part with a good 5 inches and all side and then let the body guy trim it to fit afterwards ...
