Scorchio weather today (Saturday) and nice to see so many TR7's.

Not one but two of the three Coca Cola prize cars side by side! Now you don't see that every day!

Definitely worth a trip tomorrow for those of you who were undecided.

Harry, Mel and I called in the way back from a week in Cumbria.

It was the perfect addition to a glorious week.

I recommend that any one who can does go.

Next year will try and get there in a 7 rather a diesel tin top packed full of camping gear.

Well done to Chris and Jim on the trophies, and also the chap who won the prize for the best modified.

Well done to all.

Stevie, my car was the only new prize car, it was presented in August 1978 which was just after the T registration was introduced. The other 2 are S reg as they were pre registered and given away after mine. There is an article written by John Clancy in the next issue of Triumph World telling the full story. It will be at Billing in July.

Well I made it today, brought the rain down from Cumbria with me [:D]

The stand looked great and all the cars were a credit to their owners.
Nice to catch up with Jim and Stan, didnt get back over because there was a handbag stall, a shoe stall, plants for the garden, jewellery ...etc , I'm sure you all know the score [;)]

Hope it becomes an annual event ?

Cheers, Paul

Just got back from Tatton - 2 hours with no traffic and amazingly ALL of my lights and switches worked ALL the way! [:D]

Had a great weekend and it was good to meet everyone - looking forward to the next '7' event.

Huge congratulations should be given to Jim and Stuart for organising the event. The hardy weekend campers should also be acknowledged - it was eventful for those staying overnight! [:)]

On Saturday we had about 18 cars on the stand, and about 22 on the Sunday. We did leave room for the other 10 or so that had planned to come but unfortunately didn't arrive - apologies to those that got squeezed into the back of the stand whilst we had a big space in the middle.

Photos to follow...
