its coming close now, and i am now getting taunted by hardtops, been after a cheap one for ages and now 3 on ebay in as many weeks, 1st went for over 300 quid, well out my pricerange, was after a tatty one for about 150, then stuck in work today and missed end of 2nd auction and top went for 186, so now another one on there but its not a lenham, made by honeybourne mouldings, anyone heard of these tops?

John Clancy who has produced the recent Triumph DVDs will be on the TR Drivers club stand selling the latest DVD TR2-6 which also has TR7/8s.
Anyone buying a copy during the show can have it signed by John.

The best hard top for TR7's IMHO is 'The German one' but also the rairest.

Henk, that sunroof in that add you posted looks very similar to my 2 glass thing. See my photos.

The hinges, & the little hinged locks, props, [that hold it up when open] look to be the same. I have been unable to find anyone with any information on them here in Oz. I have never seen another sunroof the same.

I need a new rubber for mine, & have had to make do with e rubbers making up something like the one required.

Is this company still in business, & do you have a web site for them? I'd love to find t a new sealing rubber.

Hi Hasbeen, it seems they are in business but not for car parts/hard tops, they were made hardtops for fiat 124 spider and spitfire too.

that about sums it up it's over a day to really take it all in cars clubs automobilia, shows, food and drink trade stalls, classic car rides and the MOH show as well showing up to the minute exotica

from walking round the halls you'll be 2" smaller there really is soooo much to see


[8 whole cylinders worth of punch to ram the world through the windshield and out the rear view mirror. Car & Driver]

Looks like I am going on a coach trip from Blackpool to the NEC including ticket for £32.50 bargin as it was going to be 40 odd quid for just my train ticket [:D]

It'll be great to see some of you guy's again..................
