I always thought this V6 conversion had the best looking engine. He winters near me and we have swapped a few parts back and forth.

Ron's conversion has to be one of the best. He's since changed the intake and air filter to a snorkle and K&R filter.

How are the plans coming for next years Regionals? Let me know when your club has it's meetings and locations, I could just take a drive someday soon.

Actually some of my club comrades were trying to contact you about the regionals. We had a meeting Tuesday and we are trying to figure out the order of everything for the VTR. Our meetings are held every second Tuesday of every month and the location varies. It would be amazing if you could sit in and join us. I'm sure everyone else would enjoy that also![:D] E-mail me if you are interested in attending and I will send you location and time! I would love to see your Triumph!

Joe Kboudi is the President of our club. I'll email you his email.

Triumph Forum: Keep the suggestions coming guys! They are all very interesting!!!

I like Rodney Wells' solution, the 4.5 liter Toyota V8.<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">

I found a pic of that conversion.

That Lexus/Toyota V8 is the 4 liter.
i think the 4.5 liter is out of the tundra 4x4?
Steel block, and a lot heavier than the 1UZ-FE.It also does not rev like the smaller 4 liter.
From what I can recall, the 1UZ is either just heavier or just lighter than the 3.5 rover.
The swap is fairly straight forward and Rodney has done a brilliant job covering it on this forum.
In standard trim the 1UZ puts out 190 kw? (flywheel)
They have a 6 bolt main, bellhousings are available to suit 5 speeds
And they sound like no other V8.
I was going to modify the rover 3.5 that I had, but to get the same bang per buck, the lexus won out.
Our project has been modified, is suppose to put out 280-300rwhp and is totally drivable, but its the torque that is the clincher
Personally I would go the V8 lexus.
But the beauty of it all is that the choices for these vehicle are endless.
Cheers and Good Luck [:D]
