Mine (Solihull built) seems to have some kind of rustproofing like waxoil or some such. Not on drive train or Ebrake plate etc. so seems to have been done before anything was assembled to the bottom of the car. When I had my gas tank and rear suspension out I just added to it with more waxoil. Didn't do from rear bulkhead up as it seemed to be pretty good still. Ron said his Canley late 79 production 30th anniversary didn't have anything. I'm pretty sure mine wasn't aftermarket dealer as there is no evidence of any on anything else other than bottom of car. Either that or some one did a really good job of taping of the car, not something usually done with aftermarket jobs.
