Thank you so, so much to everyone who has sponsored the coke car on the Round Britain Reliability Run. This morning it was confirmed that we have reached our £1,000 target :) This is set to increase further once we have counted up offline donations as well - the page will remain live until the end of the month for anyone who still wants to donate and hasn't yet done so:

Would be great to see how far we can exceed the target!

Hi Wayne,

Good to hear all was well - the East Saxons being quick as ever should just about put through a donation for you good cause.

Cheers

Brilliant and exceptional quality shot Beans!

What camera did you use and did you use a flash to fill in?

Yep that's me! With some support there from Merv and Cat Tunnadine from the TR Register. I'd just carried his TR4a clutch in the boot of the car the whole way round the RBRR for him to collect from me in deepest wales in the middle if the night. Thats about 11 pm at Geldrid I think.

By the way a full report of the Coke cars progress around the Round Britain Run has been published in Classic Car Weekly - buy it now!!

Canon EOS 1D-III on manual with flash directed upward,
using the station's canopy as a reflector to soften the light.

And of course shot in RAW and not JPEG, that's why it's taken so long to get through them all [:I]

Wayne

Well done at making it, how did the car get on?

Are you popping over to the Tollemarche for the next meeting on the 2nd November?

There are two others from our area who did the run, one made it but one got attacked by kamikaze sheep wrecking the front of his Dolomite.
