So there I was with my daughter at the bus stop and a neighbor came over and we started talking. Out of this conversation came two things: one my wife needs better communication skills and two almost free wedges. I found out two weeks ago Chris my neighbor had a coworker with two wedges in his drive way he wants taken away. Yes taken away! Now it gets better......after getting a phone number and great conversation I agreed since the cars have paper work they are worth $200.00 in a completely unseen state. The first is a 1980 white TR7 drop head with a NOS 5-speed gearbox installed with a black dash and tan check interior. He bought it in 1984.
The second is a TCN15 series TR8 coupe. It’s a 5-speed, AC, Tan interior orange coupe with 47,000 miles. He is the 2nd owner and bought it back in 1988?
I have my people arranged to pick them up tomorrow morning. It is a 30 minute drive! So I owe the neighbor big time who is from the UK! I will be taking tons of pictures.
