Thanks for all the kind words and to Dave for letting you all know.

I will be taking it easy for a while.

The car was not the root of the problem just me trying to do a marathon in the time it takes to do a mile.

I now have to slow down !!!

Dave, when I get out and about I'll pop down and give you a hand with the FHC.

I wish you a speedy and full recovery, get well soon.

I hope the attack has nothing to do with our cars [:p]

Excuse my ignorance, is having a heart attack an essiential part of owning a TR7?

Glad to here your out of the woods. My dad had angina a few times and a stroke that left his right leg a little affected but he still bombs around on his electric scooter. He's 93 so there is life after. Just don't be doing any 4 wheel skids around sharp bends in the TR for a while.

The secret of a long and healthful life is moderation of diet, routine exercise, weekly venting of your profanity, biweekly consumption of just the right amount of fermented spirits, twice daily bowel movements, and spending more time tinkering in the garage than watching the TV.

In other words, eat an apple while changing your TR7 oil. Guzzle a Guinness after jerking out the water pump. Cuss like a Marine at the head studs. Re-read the TR7 shop manual and the various parts catalogs there in the outhouse. Block out the Speed Channel and BBC America from your remote control to avoid the video drivel from Top Gear.

You'll be a better person this way. Just as dead, but much better.
