Hay nervous, tell him he was very wise, like you & I, picking a heart attack, if he had to get sick.

Fixing cardiac problems is the thing our modern doctors are best at. I've had 3 now, & the doctors sort me out in minutes of me getting to them. The main thing is to get there quick. It's a pity we don't know what our symptoms are likely to be, so we can recognise the problem, when we have our first one.

Wish him the best from Oz.

A funny story about a heart attack.

When I had my first attack, I was at the main shopping center in town. I felt sick, had to throw up, & had a strange painful but kind of numb tingling sensation growing from my fingers up my arms.

Thinking it may be a heart attack, & the hospital just a Km away, I jumped in the car & drove there. I knew it would take ages for an ambulance to find me.

On the way a couple of drivers were mucking around at a cross street, trying to give way to each other. Deciding I did not have time for this, I blasted through the intersection.

This must have attracted the interest of a cop, as when I got to the hospital car park, this cop pulled up behind me. I must have looked a bit crook, as he asked me if I was OK. When I told him I thought I was having a heart attack, he jumped back into his car & "shot through, kind of quick like".

I staggered in, & the doctor sorted me out quite quickly, & phoned my eldest daughter to come & get my car for me. I told her of my experience with the cop following me.

I learnt later that afternoon, that she drove down to the police station, & gave the 6 cops there a major telling off, for not helping me the 50 meters from the car into the hospital.

It really tickled my fancy to think of her, all 5 Ft 2, [just over a metre & as half] of beautiful 23 year old blond, giving these cops a dressing down.

I was just pleased not to have got a ticket for dangerous driving to go with the heart attack.
