Ok the Blues Brothers drove a Dodge (I've got the movie poster on my office wall). Everytime I see someone driving a cop car I wonder if they're in "The Band". Nice hair by the way.

If you had seen me drive my cop car in the early '80's and wondered if he was in 'The Band' You would be half right, worked for a heavy metal band called 'Sinbad'. Hence the hair, mine you I still got hair, only now the clippers keep it a little more presentable, plus it has change to a lighter shade or pale[:D]

The car is unable to handle my driving capabilities

My first car was a 1954 Chevrrolet I bought from my brother for $100 and I loaded up on a couple of wheels from the harrows for the weekend for the inevitable flat tires from thinish tread and gravel roads. Sorry no pictures...just took to long to put the glass plate in the camera, take off the lens cap for 60 seconds for exposure and not have anyone move during that time.[:p]
- Secondly was a new 1966 Yamaha 100cc Twin Jet (dual carbs, pistons, mufflers, bought for $475.00)
- Thirdly a 1955 Chevrolet (bought for $250)
- Fourthly a new 1968 Triumph 650cc motocycle. (my first English vehicle, bought for $1,425.00)
- Fifth was a Hillman Station wagon, about 1962 I believe, (bought for $75).

FI Spyder buys his first car for $100.00 and his last Tr7 for $100.00.
No inflation for you.

My first new car is still sitting in my garage (not roadworthy) - a 76/77 TR7 depending on how you count. I bought it in 76, its window sticker says 76, its title said 76, but all the reference material says its VIN makes it a 77. I have a neat image of it but I'll be darned if I can figure out how all you guys are pasting your pictures into these messages - I'm incorrigably dumb when it comes to computer stuff...

they were XR2 Alloy pepperpots[:I], in my defence they were only there because the originals had tyres well past their best and a set of Peperpots with decent tyres only cost £40. Proper shoestring budget back then.
