cost of full respray?

mine was sprayed by the PO, well half was, he had it tight to a wall so only sprayed the drivers side, the flaking bonnet was due to him not rubbing down and sealing properly, am sure the car a lot lighter now the amount of filler i've dug out of it, and the parts that were sprayed with trim in place, ie the rear panel was sprayed with the hood still on.!!!! the paint is peeling like mad from there and needs completely taking to bare metal......... amazing what some people will do thinking its ready for a topcoat.........[B)]

Black bonnet/white car = Barry/Vale of Glam.
White bonnet/black car = Cardiff.[:D].

How about hand painting with a rolller, I might have a go at this on some old panels from the scrappy. You never know [;)].

well i knew i'd seen the colour mix on a taxi somewhere local.... my rattle can efforts are not too bad really, ready for an 800/1200 wet n dry rub down for top coat........... also the satin to my knowledge is waterproof and primers not........ feel free to correct me if been told this wrong....[:D]

Been told that aswell. Primer offers no protection as it is porous and absorbs moisture.
