What is this wheel Rim off?

Postby Jolyon39 » 13 Jul 2010 11:23

Currently on a UK car for sale in NZ

Never seen this pattern before and it sure does show up the dirty old rear brake drum.

I did not look to see if it was 13" or 14' either but the car has Princess calipers on the front so they must have good clearance.

They look to be Ford 'pepperpot' wheels, as fitted to Ford Fiestas (and possibly Capris?)

No idea how they ended up on a TR7, I'd have thought the PCD was totally different? Although those look to have been welded and redrilled. Seems a lot of work for a not a particularly nice looking (IMO) wheel, but there you go.

Could be a Wolfrace Sonic, or I believe Alleycat made something like that too...

Hi,
They look like the same wheels Del Lines fitted to his cars (as mentioned in a previous post)

Heres a picture of a wheel on the car thats for sale on ebay.

Cheers, Dave

Ugly as sin on a rusty old drum....why would you bother taking the trouble of redrilling?

Of course, I never looked closely but they must be welded and re drilled.

Totally ugly IMHO

Thanks for the info guys
