We're heading South on the Wednesday from Aberdeenshire - around 1000 mls each way. Cross Dover/ Bologne Thurs.7.30 am and have a leisurely drive to tertre rouge. return same route 5.00pm crossing on Monday. It was after my first trip as a passenger in a tr7 2 yrs ago that I got hooked and bought my own one - never regretted it.
Really looking forward to a great weekend !

Car nearly packed looking forward to this so much.

After the excellent TRDC National at Billing and then now Classic Le Mans, this is why I love classic cars.

All who are going take plenty of photos, and get them on the forum.

Got back home at 2.30 this morning.

What a great weekend.

The South African 7 did not miss a beat and my trusty co pilot Jim made sure we did not get lost.

It was good to catch up with the French and Swiss 7s and 8s, as well the chaps from the North West.

To hear a GT40 hammering down from the Dunlop bridge followed by a Cobra at full pelt is something else.

The TSSC had a great set up, just glad I did not pay for the lap which did not quite happen.

It was hot darn hot, 40 plus apparently but an excellent weekend.

If you have not been to the Classic Le Mans get ready for 2012 the next one.

Just got home - wow what a scorcher of a weekend. Our weekend was only marred by us getting a hole in the Stags radiator on Friday night, so we had to put up with driving round in a hired Astra with aircon for the rest of the weekend.
This was my fourth "Classic" Le Mans and it realy does astound me what appears at this even - would you ever think they could put the complete 1931 Talbot team of five cars back together to race this weekend?
Sorry I didn't get to meet up with more of you but the weekend seemed to just fly away.

Cheers
Ian
