<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Century Gothic, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote">Sorry to hear you cant make it Steve, see you at Malvern though.<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">

Fingers crossed for Malvern.. it's on the busiest weekend of the year (possibly) the start of the 6 week school summer hols so it may be a bad idea..

Billing is a 500 mile round trip fom here and towing the car all that way alone with a LHD motorhome is pretty stressful..

the money I save in diesel etc. would actually buy me a new exhaust or a wing so I'm trying to consol myself with that thought. Don't mention the cost of the alternator and finding the reason why it burnt out (twice).

Anyways.. there is a classic car meeting near here on Sunday so I'm thinking of going along to that one.

Have a good time everybody...

Regards Steve

I think it's just a tenner on the Billing gate. We're already here and there's a pretty good turn out of TR's. Come on the rest of you - beautiful weather, great cars and good company in a lovely setting. MK2 Cortina's in the next field too!

What a fantastic day. As usual not enough hours in the day to chat to everyone about their fantastic cars!

I went up on Sunday at it was a great day - the road trip was very good with a variety of different roads.

The only problem is, driving up from Devon, then back down again on a warm sunny day wearing sunglasses resulted in much merriment from everyone at home as I now look like a panda, albeit one with a red face. Really looking forward to getting some stick at work this morning. [B)]

We had a nice persian aqua drophead with us on the M4 for some miles... until it started to rain. Thought that was you Andy.

i had a great day there were some fantastic cars on show, really enjoyed the road run. i didnt get much time to talk to people as i would have liked as my daughter was with me and was quite keen to walk around the site so i definatly will be freeing up the weekend next year for a proper relax. This was my first billing a must for everybody. great event guys. [8D]

Finally made it home at 1:45am and collapsed into bed. Had a great run back, marred only by hold-ups around Gent (who has a traffic jam at 11pm - I ask you...)

Roof down all the way. It was a bit chilly at the end though, but kept me awake and took my mind off my sore eyeballs, earache, sunburn etc. But the car performed brilliantly over the 920 mile round trip!!

Had a quick look at the video on the boat - some good footage there...

It was a great weekend - thanks to all who helped organise and who came along to make it the great fun it always is. Trophy will go on in the cabinet (its the first...)
