I use them in my V8. Multiple electrodes means greater reliability and guaranteed spark as it has several routes to choose from. Need to uprate the iginition system to make the most of them though from what I understand as I have with the Mallory kit and Ignition amplifier where you can make the most of a fatter spark.

Interestingly in my documentation Grinnall reccomends these as the service item so he obviously saw the benefit as well....

I have tried all types of plugs until I was told about Denso,
I will not use any other brand now.
That is all I will say[;)]

The car is unable to handle my driving capabilities

Hi Stevie,

Its one step but upgrades that give fatter sparks is what I had in mind stuff like Flame thrower coils, Ignition amplifiers and those multi - spark things I would have thought. But I reckon thy are a good buy anyway purely because of how long they last as well!

Any weakness in the system will result in the sparks being 'diverted' from the plugs. If the spark is not 'fat' enough, you won't even get a spark. Given this, I use them on my 16V and V8, but have a Megajolt EDIS spark system - one coil per 2 plugs [8D]

Never read so much nonsense in that Bosch advert in all my life Stevie! Just stick with good old Champions ! And - put a wee smear of copper slip on the threads to make sure they don't get stuck in the alloy head.

Nearly everyone here uses NGK or Bosch (not the 4 electrode ones) though I always used Golden Lodge plugs in my Alfa 105 series GTV2000 as I found the 4 electrodes kept the build up of deposits at bay allowing the use of a colder plug than could otherwise be used. So maybe the advantage of the Bosch 4's would be the ability to run a colder plug if you had premeture detonation problems in a modified engine.</font id="size2"></font id="Comic Sans MS">

Champions??? They have to be the Netto better buy of spark plugs surely [:D]. I had two sets in my 2 litre before someone more knowledgeable than I am told me to steer clear. The electrodes just dissolved over time!!! BP5 's BP6's didnt make a difference they both went the same way. NGK or Bosch will be the only ones that get near an engine of mine lol especially the V8 monster Grinnall.
