It seems to have yellow wheel arches... Is that the original colour?

cant get mot yet for the 6 test centre fully booked up[:D]
i spoke to the spider today hes looking forward to a holiday[8D]

Its funny how ive already been paying a lot of attention to which way to with the paint yes looks like original colour is mustard yellow done know code as vin plate has been painted over in underseal chassis number is CP!!!!! but i do like them in red. So closer the time i'll have to make decision the yellow is more unusual colour and i like the idea of that. Red really suits the 6 or i couls go for a more modern colour. I think that i ought to look and the basics first painting is at least a year away if im lucky..

chassis looks pretty good, the rear quarter thats off is mint. the other thats on is excellent apart from damage at corner so that will repair plate behind and weld fill front wing are also very good condition apart from 1/2 inch rot above headlights again i think this will repair similarly. door frames good and only drivers side has a small bit of rust passenger side. the floors are shagged window frame is good boot is good rear panel boot floor looks good as does fuel tank reusable bonnett has been stored inside and is excellent engine and seats again have all been stored inside and when i saw them looked good rest of trim carpets door cards were kept in boot so are very musty and damp. plan of action is to get all panels off get them dipped and get good welder friend of mine to repair he used to work on these at brooks and sons rugeley walsall tr specalists until they closed he is one of the sons in the name. so its looking like a new tub or carry out / fabricte some new sections, need floors inner arches inner wing. so i guess 80% will be reusable. believe it or not it has new disks and pads and brake line so evidense is there of restoration being started.

I can't begin to comprehend such a project. And I'm an autobody man by profession. Wow! Over here that wouldn't be considered a good parts car. Best of luck with it.
