I'll see you all there. We're heading up today for the 1.30pm road run so assuming the TR's fine we'll stay locally overnight.

I'll try to remember to stick some Triumph DVD covers on my windscreen so let's try to get as many TR7's and 8's assembled together as possible. These cars are a dying breed so it would be nice to put a good turnout together.

Via a mates house for a swift drink,
What a fantastic day, hot or what! did remember the factor 30!

Good to see John & John. Mr C I will have the last DVD at Billing please.

Round trip of 340 miles, car seems to run better for a good blast.

Hope to see more of you again at the Ace in a few weeks.

Cheers
Ian

It was a 350 mile all round for me. Certainly was a most enjoyable drive. An impressive venue, although I was surprised that a better quality PA sound system hadn’t been invested in there. Also the lack of an ice cream van was unbelievable given the long range weather forecast. I think I had the very last baby vanilla tub from the freezer early on in the afternoon. I can’t believe that there was only one Triumph acclaim in the field too. That has to be a true Triumph surely given that it did actually introduce us Brits to reliable Japanese motors!

Wow, what a great day out[:D] Wonderful venue, well organised (apart from the lack of ice cream!) & good to see some familiar faces (all answering to the name of John[:)]) & cars.

Did two runs up the hill & like John did not get out of 2nd gear! Very addictive - I want another go[}:)] Just getting the hang of it after the second attempt. Paid £12 for a CD of 16 high res pictures of my runs, great shots & a bargain compared to what you get charged for just one print at some events.

And a pleasant surprise was that the V8 managed 27MPG for the round trip, including the 2 runs up the hill.

Hope they do this again next year.
