Mildred, is that a BMW I spy hidden in your shed? You wouldn't be operating it on the sly now would you?

No, my friend, Nick. It belongs to my niece, a slight and trim young thing whose frame and feet fit the seat and pedals. Mine don't, that's why I continue to lavish careful maintenance on the TR7. Like a good pair of shoes, when one finds a car that fits, one should stick with it.

Does anyone know were I could get my hands on one of these original type racks ? My wife hates all there is regarding my 7 but recently noticed one of the photos with the rack and has expressed her pleasure to have one fitted and I'd like to make the most of that !

Could help me in the future [:D]

I hope she realises they are strictly 'for looks' only? Made out of thin and flimsy sheet that collapses under any load...

But it will hold a wicker basket filled with picnic goodies so you both can take a run out to the country, park the TR under the old oak tree, spread out the blanket, munch on the goodies and listen to the birds sing in the trees, the bees buzzing in the flowers, and watch the new born colts scamper around their mothers testing their newfound steady legs in the field off in the distance.

[:D][:D] what is it they say "measure twice cut once"............. or drill as the case maybe,

I also have spare boot lid if it all went pear shaped,

I am hoping to make some sort of removeable rack to atach to this and my roll bar so I can transport my pedal car to local shows without relying on the missus to bring it.

ebay motors usa is going to be your best bet if you need one fast, there are plenty of after market tubular ones around, just got to be lucky if you want flat bar usa spec.
