I will not be able to attend Knebworth as I spend Aug bank holiday here. . . . . .

Been attending every year (14) as it's The best airshow!

This picture was taken BESIDE my TR7.
Just orange plastic fence between me and a P51 Mustang! Brill!

Ian

First of all Happy Birthday and thanks for the piece of Birthday cake and making ourselves feel very welcome.

It was for a great day at Knebworth for the TR Register / TR Drivers TR7/8 meet.

It was my first time at Knebworth and for those who have not been before I recommend it for next year.

As well as the Triumphs there were some cars of note such as the DS drop head, the Rolls Royce estate, and the awsome Audi R8 amongst the roughly 500 cars.

Hope to see more pictures posted on the forum.

Again great day well worth 1.5 hrs drive and a sunburnt neck.

Cheers Simon,

Those East Saxons treat me really badly - first they blindfold me than they turn me round so I dont know where I am then they make me eat cake!

I thought today was really brilliant - I even enjoyed the judging bit and hopefully I havn't upset too many people - I think we made the right choice with the soft and hard top cars - very difficult because there were loads of cars with different merits.

As you say there were loads of diferent cars but the Citroen was pretty rare - was the first time I have had a chence to have a really close look at a "decapotable" DS (probably not spelt correctly but we would call it a DHC.

Now to nurse my sunburn with a pint or two of special liquid medicine!!!

Cheers
Ian

It was also good not to be the only Triton in the village for once.

"Kermit" the V8.
