I've spent the past couple of days putting the Saturday evening film show together. For those of us into the rally cars there's plenty to keep you occupied in this one - much of it rarely or never before seen in public.

As we're expecting to have a disco on the Saturday evening this time around I've tried to ensure it won't matter if the sound is drowned out by Shakin' Stevens and the like, but we should still be able to hear plenty of wonderful sounding V8 engines.

I did have a couple of requests to repeat 'Buffum & Co.' so if any of you really want to see that one (after all, you're not likely to see it anywhere else!) then let me know and we'll sort something out on the day.

John & All,

I assume you will be getting us into the Rally Scene, ready for the very special TR.

Still looking for other cars for the Special Display as follows, TR7 Spiders, TR7 Premiums, TR7 Sprints, Grinalls, Press TR7 DHC, TR8 Drag car etc

Send me a email if you interested in adding something special to the Sunday Display on the 5th July 2009.

Hi Jim,

we're doing our best . . . . in between more urgent priorities. Hopefully we'll have Black Lightning, the TR8 Drag Car, and an outside chance of KEH 2V. Keep your fingers crossed.

Cheers,

Alec

John,

Hopefully two Genuine TR7 Sprint will be there but mines the one giving problems at present must be because its not been on the road since may 1986 so I should know better.

Problems to date was the car was serious leaking fuel from around the sender unit now cured I think.

Secondly the car wouldn't start but now ok combination of cleaning the dash pots and replacing one of the breather hoses and swopping over the petrol cap.

I thought things were looking good but now the viscous coupler as come loose and making bad noises.

All part of classic car ownership.

Bet you wish you had not asked.

Jim

Hi Zoe,
Some die hards turn up on Friday.
Saturday people arrive from early morning, fun run after lunch,
marquee with film shows, spares and evening quiz etc.
Sunday gets the most cars and finishes about 4pm just after the thunderstorm and the hood raising contest[:D]

Zoe

If you book 7 days in advance you get a £5 per night discount of the normal £20 per night.

The advance booking code for this offer is KJM09.

But you can pay on the day without the discount.
