Postby Wayne S » 24 Apr 2009 14:28

TR YOOF'S WAXHAM WEEKEND 15th - 17th May 2009

The Waxham Weekend has been organised by the TR Register's TR Yoof group who are a group of younger drivers (mainly 17-35) of Triumph Cars. The emphasis of the event is to bring together all younger drivers of Triumph's for a weekend of cruisin' boozin', partying and fun at a beach location in Norfolk.

WHERE IS IT?
________________________________________________________________________

We have grabbed you all an amazing location - Waxham Sands nr Great Yarmouth in Norfolk for the venue and have secured our own event area right on the seafront nestled amongst some of the most amazing coastline and sand dunes in Norfolk. All directions for the campsite and cruise start points will be sent through to you individually once you have clicked attend.
The weekend will be all about getting out in the cars, giving them a blast, having a laugh and partying hard!

I might have come along as an "honorary yoof" too as it sounds a great weekend and sleep is very over-rated anyway but I'll be on my way to Scotland in GRD for a week long classic car tour starting that weekend. Not to mention that I'm not at all sure I could manage camping any more - it's been a long time since I tried!

First I have heard of this weekend, which is a pity as its about an hours drive from home.
I have to say this area of Norfolk is busy of late.
We started the Club Triumph Historic Counties Run Coast to Coast in Southwold, not too far from where you are last week.
Tommorow we are organisng a drive it day run up the same roads you will use under the guise of Club Triumph/TRDC Norfolk.
May bank holiday Monday 4th we will again be in the same area on the MG Owners Broadland run starting at Caister.
10th of May is Henham Wings and Wheels car show, again just up the road.
Then on the 17th there is the MG owners Boadicea Group run from Elvedon, nr Thetford.
May try to get over on the Saturday.
