Wrecked the front spoiler on OVC in the Lake District at the weekend [:(]
Other than that is was a great weekend, brilliant weather and not too much traffic to spoil the driving.

Anyone any good at fibreglass repairs?????</font id="green">

The last two TSSC events at Duxford have been excellent (yes, reduced entrance fee) and it's a great venue if you like old aeroplanes (like I do) because they fly them as well as show them off in the hangars. The American hangar is one of the best, the SR71 blackbird is an awesome plane.
You haven't heard noise until you hear a Spitfire engine at full chat about 50 feet away while the mechanics sit on the back wings to stop it taking off[:D]
I will be there again at the next one[:p]

As you say Rosey, you cant beat that sound of a Merlin or Griffon engine overhead at 50 feet.

If you get a chance though a good place to visit is P&A Woods at Great Easton - who are Rolls Royce and Bently Restorers, they have the most amazing facility for restoring Spitfire engines.

Turn up, not in the main entrance though, you need the entrance at the Royston End of the site. Cost is around £9.95 I think, which is discounted from the normal £16.
