We will be there as well.
Does anyone have any details on camping there?

In what respect Mark? Last year we paid a fee for the weekend to Roel who organised it, I can't remember how much but it was about the same as the cost for entrance to Billing. I'm not sure if we're having the same field this year as last but there are no rules as to where you pitch your tent as far as I know! I have also been to several cub camps at Skreens over the years.

Ah right. I just wondered if it was a case of just calling up the place and booking.

We think the cost will be £10.00 per day or £15.00 for the weekend. We will confirm this asap and post again. There is no need to pre-book, if you require directions, please email us. See location in link below:-

Prices are £10.00 per day or £15.00 for the weekend, which we hope will cover the cost of some of the activites planned. There may be a modest additional charge for the activies to cover for insturctors time and equipment used. This will depend of numbers in attendance.

Activites available are: Abseiling, Climbing Wall, Canoeing, Shooting and Archery all planned with the supervision of trainied instructors. Obviously activities may be cancelled due to poor weather...

Paul W is going to sort out a follow-the-leader type road run for (probably) the Saturday afternoon. Better hope he's in his white auto rather than the green monster!

Been out doing a rekkie, scouting out a route thro'the Essex countryside.
Mostly meandering B roads with fields and farms all around.
It's about a 30 mile loop, but if you want a couple of motorway bridges
to go under so the V8's can really growl, add 3 miles!
Found a really nice pub in pleasant surroundings at Matching Green.
Plenty of space to park and the landlord is happy to be our host.
Said he has a number of classic car clubs throught the year, you can
dine there or order sandwiches etc.Saturday afternoon is best,as he
said Sundays are too busy.
Hands up if your interested so i can get a rough idea of numbers.

See ya. Paul

John, I have two spare tents. You're more than welcome to borrow one, I have a three man single room which is fine if you're on your own or with a partner or a two room four man which is fine if your with a friend. Let me know which one you'd like me to bring?

Hi Trphil,
Thank you very much for the offer [:D] had a look through the Argos Cat this evening and you can buy a 2 man tent for a reasonable amount so will probaly do that, it will come in for other events as well or when the women in my life get to much then i sleep in the back garden for some peace [;)]
Whilst on the subject of camping / staying on site, who else plans to do so [?][?][?]
Cheers John
