I was thinking about going up as CC is not too far from me, but yesterday I was told by SWAMBO that mother in law was coming to stay for the weekend so my presence is required at home[:(]

Well, what a great day out. Only one other TR there today, a blue Grinnall V8 [anyone from here] wich sounded nice out on the track. Plenty of other Triumphs there, Stags, Sprints and Spitfire/GT6. Such a wide variety of cars to see around the padock area, Lotus Cortina's, Marcos, Cobra's, TVR, just too many to list. Was good to see so many different makes of car, old and new, out on the track at the same time. It's a must do next year guys.

trv8,

Just to let you know there will about 7 wedges at the Castle Coombe Rally Day on the 20th September at Castle Coombe. If you are interested in putting your car on the stand it's £15 for the Driver / Car pass for your TR and any additional passenger it's £10 or failing that and your about come across for a chat.

trv8,

Most likely going by last year a few TR7 Rally cars, which includes an demonstration around mid day. Last year Steve Rockinghams TR7 Rally cars was in action etc. Ex Genuine TR7 Rally replica used by British Airways plus about 6 more wedges on the stand. Feel free to join us on the stand if you wish, but would need to know shortly to be included in the my form.

Jim, still not sure if I can make this, won't know untill much closer to the event. If I do, will have a nose around the stand for sure. Cheers.
