replacement air filters for dual Webber carbs

Postby humanoid » 10 May 2008 23:08

The previous owner of my 7 had dual Webber carbs installed along with 2 POS K&N air filters. I want to ditch those and go with more traditional air filters. Does anyone know which ones will work?

Victoria British has several air filters for those carbs.

Also, VW bugs used those some carbs, so check with BAP/GEON and VW speed shops.

Do the air cleaners mount on top or on the sides?

They mount on the top.

Then you most likely have the Weber 32mm/36mm DGV Carburetors. Mounted on Pierce adapters.

Hmmmm. It seems that the carbs I have may not be legal in California. I wonder how the previous owner got it smogged then?
