Thanks fellers, & I'm glad to help some of you almost old blokes
feel younger.

I got a late birthday present today.
The main thermo fan on the 8 stopped working a week or so ago, &
today I went in the 7, into a suburban area full of auto places.
At the parts shop, I'd just parked, in their parking lot, when a V8
Holden Commodore, with a very "cammy" idle motored in, past me,
stopped, & backed up to infront of me, & shouted, over his
exhaust, "Bl@@dy beautiful car mate, best looking car, I've seen so
far this year.

It would be hard not to be happy after that.

To make it even better, they had the same make, & model fan in
stock. It was bolted on, in 45 minutes, & I went for a test run.

I gave the thing a real thrashing, with the air con on, & its a
hotish day here, [about 31 c, 88 F]. the engine temperature didn't
go over half on the gauge, [about 86 C], so everything's sweet,
around here, right now.

If you can still climb in and out of a TR7/8 at any age, you are doing OK in my book. I always feel younger driving a TR7 V8.
Happy Birthday!
