My, my, let's try it this way then. For those with a true TR7 LT77 gearbox, even tho you may have converted your car from the 4 cylinder to the 8 cylinder engine AND not converted it's internals, would you care to participate in this sampling of tach readings. Then we may be able to establish a consensus on where our speedometers should be reading.

Also, those with a TR8 and the appropriate TR8 LT77 gearbox may list there readings as well.

Is that better, dear one?

Thank you,

Mildred Hargis

We sent Caleb out this morning out on Hwy 99. We show at 60 mph in forth gear a tach reading of 3275 rpm. We have an early 'B' series TR7 LT77 gearbox with the black 23 teeth speedo gear and a four speed 3.63/1 rear end ratio, on stock 175x13 tires and wheels.

Who's next?
