4 wheels at the front... That made me laugh!! Maybe Extend the back and put in a hot tub too!! Just kidding. Like I said I was bored and watching TV with nothing better to do. Seriously though Cake's car is the real thing as seen in the video he has posted on youtube and all the pic's in the for sale section. I just have to much time on my hands with all this snow and cold here in the great white north. The snow banks here in front of the house are now higher than both my van and SUV I wish I still had my lifted Pathfinder to be able to see over them.

I think I'm having a snow breakdown?

That is a loaded question. [:)] Some might say that fitting large aftermarket wheels ruins a TR7 [;)].

One things that I like about TR7s is that they are NOT some highly desirable collectables, so people tend to do a lot of interesting things with them. To me, they are all TR7s!

I guess change is a mater of personal taste. Some will say return it to its original glory no mater how beat up and rusted out it is to begin with. While I applaud this effort I just can't see the reasoning behind it when you look at the real world values and #'s of these cars. This is not to say that I don't like "original" cars. My 78' is a very nice example of a real "survivor" never been repainted Good shape (I think) feel free to comment. Full service history records, even the original bill of sale and customer warranty service card. I refuse to alter this car!!! Even though I know it will realistically never be worth any substantial amount of money, at least not in my lifetime anyway. This being said I have this urge to see how far into real time I or anyone else can manage to bring one of these 27+-year-old cars. We don't really know where the development of these cars may have gone after production stopped so if you look at it as a continuation of what could have been done after production stopped (in any one persons mind) then it's more like a concept than anything else. Even though I say I was just bored the thing to remember Is that even though I started with Cake's car I added what I thought would have been likely to happen through time. Things like a more slopped windshield A lower top, we likely would have seen slanted rear glass for aerodynamics and of course molded front and rear fascia also in hopes of lower # CD's. Even those bigger wheels that some like and some don't. A longer wheel base by pushing the wheels closer to the corners to help with cornering and ride not to mention interior space. All cars eventually evolve (some people too!!) and had we seen the 7/8 continue on it surly would have morphed into something different than what it started out as, whether we liked it or not.
