I built one as a kid. My parents picked it up at a very rainy TR Register International Weekend, to keep me occupied [:0]. Must have been mid - late 80's.[:I]
Wow, hadnt seen it since until just then, crazy flashbacks.[:D]
My Dad had just finished his G-TR4 Dove rebuild which is red. I was proud to have a hardtop TR in red of my own, wow. Suffice to say its no longer around, but maybe it was the start of the fascination with the wedge.
