Heater Blower Electric Drain

Postby dhildy » 18 Oct 2007 20:26

Since winter is on the way and the top is full of holes I thought I would fire up the heater in the old "7". Why such a big drain on the voltmeter? Headlights don't draw it down but hit the blower and it scoots to nothing. Ground?

Probably old. Mine does the same thing. Either clean, clean grooves in stator and lub, or replace the motor.
