Just a post to keep Ally at the top, it would be nice if we could see this thread for a while longer.

I've also placed a pic of Ally in her memory, on the blog home page. So long as Simon doesn't object, I'd suggest that it stays there as a permanent memorial to our best and sadly missed blogger.

<font face="Century Gothic"><font color="purple">Having swapped e-mails with Simon it is likely that I will place a permenant memorial page on the website itself.

Msgs from this thread will be placed on the pages, but if anyone would like to e-mail me directly please do. As I'm sure you appreciate these are difficult times for Simon & family members, and I will only put the pages together when appropriate, subject to their agreement.

Thanks to everyone for all their messages of support. It helps so much knowing how many people's lives she touched (and the members of this board are only a fraction of that number)!

That photo of Ally on the bonnet of KBA is one of our favorite ones of her, indeed we chose it as the photo to go on the front of the order of service at the funeral! Definitely have no objection to it being used as a memorial on the blogs front page!

There was a really nice turn out of triumphs at the funeral, I think there was over ten, maybe fifteen, made up of cars of our group of young 'uns, as well as some of the local TR Register group. They convoyed with us from my house to the crematorium and made such a lovely tribute to her!

KBA's ownership will be transferring across to me in due course, and I'll be making sure she gets on the road properly... the first action I think is going to get Tim Willis at Willow Triumph in Darlington to get the current lot of things needing fixing sorted!

Rest in Peace Ally, you shall never be forgotten.

Wow! I never new Ally, as I am a newbie here, but the posts and messages in this thread are a testament to the person. She must have been a lovely, caring, fantastic person. My deepest condolences to her family, friends and all who knew her. She sounds very special!

Merry Christmas to Ally, and her friends and family who I am sure will have a bittersweet Christmas this year.
As a father of two young women I feel a sense of loss every time I see her name at the top of the forum.
Ally's presence here helps me appreciate the ones In love.

Best of the Season To All!

Rich
