Cool, indeed!

But disorienting for this Yank at first glance, with the camera angle and right hand drive!

I am 18 months into my restoation of a DHC v8 and sometimes it feels like it will never end. Just sprayed it yesterday but am seriously fed up with looking at 1200 wet and dry. Film clips like this remind me of why I'm doing this and what I have to look forward to.

Cheers dude

If it doesn't fit you obviously need a bigger hammer.

There is an art to setting off those car alarms.
You have to get the revs just right.
2000rpm rattles the window on my local hairdressers.

Anyway, Billy the Kid, i reckon.[:)]

Those crazy Americans at it again![:)]
Nice one.

I did have a Salisbury power lock diff in the back of mine and you could do doughnuts all day long.
But the plates tend to brake and then i broke the planet gears doing drag racing.
Now have Quaife in (torque bias job).
Passed MOT in August (Horray!) at work and someone said can you do a doughnut with a Quaife? Never tried before. Managed one, but you have to "keep your foot in" (rallying term) to keep it locked.

Cheers
Phil

How much power does that thing have? Our 280 BHP 4.6L 8 tends to
behave in the same disreputable way, particularly when a bit out of
town, where there are not too many legal impediments to enjoying
your car.

I tried to convince my son, & his mate, that he should not drive
that way. Fat chance. The only reason he still has a licence is
because the navy send him off to sea for lengthy periods, allowing
points to expire. His mate's lost his about 3 times.

How come you still have one? We have a law here that allows them to
book you, just because of the sound, regardless of decibels, if it
sounds that nice.

That sure does sound great and you can tell the effect of the power it has[8D]

I would feel really frustrated though at not being able to use it - picking your way through traffic must be really annoying[xx(]

Have you considered getting a FHC and rallying it? Honestly it's great - you can really get "tuned in" to the car.

Here's a link I found which gives a good view
