Hi wayne, thanks for youre reply, spalding aint that far from Me, to tell you the truth wayne, my TR is about 95% complete, and have one or 2 probs that im finding difficult ie the birds nest of wiring etc, most of the original bit and pieces iv managed to get hold of apart from an air scoop, things like that, if you are ever down this way you are more than welcome to drop in, to tell you the truth would love to see a driving TR, as ive always wanted my own soft top, but as yet ive never even driven one, now i bet thats a first on here! Do keep in touch Wayne as living not a million miles help with anything TR works both ways.

Hi Steve

Unfortunately I didn't get as far as the Mile of Triumphs either. Health problems have been plaguing me for a while now and I'm afraid I just wasn't up to the trip. Apparently their was 176 cars on Saturday and over 200 on Sunday. I am so glad it was such a success as the money made went to the local hospice charities.

Catch you soon

Gary

So to hear you wernt to good Gary, i hope you are on the mend again, it was good to hear that alot of money was raised to for a very worthwhile cause.

Gary if there are any shows coming up again or in the new year if you get a chance could you let me know, as i am relatively new to the TR scene, but have been a big fan of the car from the of, love the car now as much as i did then and one day when i have mine on the road i will feel just as proud as all you guys.

Hi Wayne

My son was most annoyed that he missed out. I had a brilliant time, what a fabulous machine. I cannot remember ever being in anything that accelerated at the rate of your car, I can only wonder what your car will be like should you ever get around to fitting a blower. Just make sure you give me another "spin" when it's done.

Many thanks Wayne, it was great meeting you.

Gary

As I said the blower may be some time off (if ever) But I am glad you enjoyed it. (Just hope your not a copper! Forgot to ask. Don't want to lose my licence for going slightly (!) over the limit.)
We will throw it down the motorway another day. Will give your son a spin if he wants. Finding things the "Chase" is always a problem.

Hi Steve,I dont know how far away from Rotherham you are but the TR Drivers club Yorkshire area meet at the Royal Oak Ulley on the first Tuesday of each month. In the summer we meet in the car park for a chat and we have quite a few TRs attending, in the winter we just sit in the pub and talk about cars and other things.
