Hasbeen RIP

Postby Cobber » 26 Feb 2024 06:42

I’m saddened to announce that long time Forum member Hasbeen has passed after an illness,
On the 28th of January.
His 21st birthday was to be on the 29th of February, on a technicality, being born in a leap year.
So he was just shy of 84 years old!
I was thinking of driving up to Queensland for his 21st!

I’ve just been in touch with Deb and she thanked us all for being his friends.
I’ve taken the liberty of passing on all of our condolences on the forum’s members behalf.

RIP Hasbeen (Phil West)

He will be truly missed. I enjoyed all the stories, be it from his racing days or dealing with Triumph cars.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Oddly enough I nearly joined Hasbeen in the forum in the sky on the 29th his birthday……I had a bloody heart attack, I’m recovering but I was nearly done for.

Take more than a dodgy heart to stop me…… over the years it has been proven that I’m bloody hard to kill!
