Repair panel templates

Postby dursleyman » 02 Apr 2023 15:50

Over on the Triumph Dolomite Forum, someone has been digitising Repair Panel Templates that would be downloadable for members of the group.
This would be for those little repair pieces that most of our cars need cutting/welding from time to time.

Just wondered if anyone on here has thought about this and has the facilities to do something like this for TR7s?

Patch repairs are usually done here by CAD (as in cardboard aided design);
Cut out the rust and use cardboard to make templates for the repair pieces.

If it's not broke don't fix it.

There is a TR Spares Development Fund group on Facebook, you could join and suggest something like that on there.
