Gearshift Gaiter Finial-trial!

Postby Howard722 » 02 Oct 2021 13:41

I managed to measure just enough of an original rubber finial to generate a drawing and now have three `first-offs` made on a 3D printer.
I have fitted one to an old gaiter,( kept back from scrapping to keep as a pattern )-see pics,
(the central bore is 1/2" -my shaft is 7/16"!!! , - so not as big as the 15mm I just about measured on the original rubber one to make it a bit stronger at the neck).
