Triumph TR7 Black Cord seat covers

I am currently in the process of converting my interior trim from the beige to black. I have the door cards and all side panels are now the black auto carpet.


However, seat covers seem to cost the earth. Does anyone know where you can get black seat covers at a reasonable price?

Your problem is that approx. 25% of all TR7's had black cord seats (1974-77) .., so those restoring these cars are seeking the best covers.
Your best option is to try S+S Preparations (and similar) andput your name down for when they good a good 'breaker' in.

If you've not become an addict already, a weekly trawl on eBay may find some out there........ different sellers often describe parts differently or misspell them. Some 42 year old black cord seats might be in someone's attic.

I picked up a set of blue check seats on eBay a few years ago, it was well worth the drive from London to Liverpool.

Oh yes I know what you mean. I try to look on there every week but sometimes get fed up of all the pages with mats

Did see these ones but they looked like they would need a fair bit of work to get them into shape.
