Should go to the radio location in the centre console, underneath the heater

The OEM speaker wiring is flimsy rubbish, so if you are upgrading the stereo system, you will need to replace it with something more substantial.

Have to admit its a bit of a rats nest behind my radio, no idea how I worked it out years ago when I replaced the duff one which came with the car. According to the diagram in the manual there should be a white/pink wire from the ignition switch which I assume is the 'accessory' switched live. Modern radios need both the switched live and a permanent live for the memory. The cig lighter feed is a permanent live on mine (which seems to accord with the diagram, purple wire).

Speaker wires are black / white & plain black and as Beans mentions should be in the area behind where the radio is designed to go.
The power feed is white / pink and fed from the ignition key switch. If this is missing you can connect it to any white wire, but there is no maintained supply on the original wiring diagram. The nearest maintained supply is the cigarette lighter supply (Purple)
