I managed to set fire to the wiring on my 1979 tr7v8 welding, the damage was pretty extensive (fire seemed to run along the wraping on the loom) so I have been fitting a secondhand loom, it is now pretty much in with just the front end to sort out. The problem is I have one wire I can't find a connection for. On top of the dash there is a jumper cable about 4 inches long with a green and orange and black and purple cable, spliced into one of the connectors is another black and purple wire with a spade terminal then a small cylinder, this is the cable I can't find a connection for, anyone any ideas?
